I chose an apprenticeship because I wanted to get into the workplace and start earning a wage, but I was keen to continue learning so I could gain a qualification and get the career I wanted. Working as an apprentice gives me the best of both worlds as I’m earning and learning at the same time.Callum Heath, Bee Active
I’ve developed loads of skills since starting my apprenticeship. When you’re at school you’re used to working alone but, as part of my role at Leoni, I’m often working on projects as part of a team – so I’ve had to develop my communication and time management skills. I’ve also had to learn how to keep calm and stay focussed when working under pressure as I’m constantly working on a number of different tasks at the same time, all with similar deadlines. Developing these skills in the workplace has also helped me when completing my coursework for my apprenticeship qualification.Rachel Smith, Leoni
