Enrichment round up from an activity-filled half term

Being a student at NSCG is more than just studying. Every week our learners enjoy a range of enrichment trips and experiences to complement their journeys, from talks to trips, there’s always something going on to ensure our students get the best possible experiences whilst at NSCG.

This half term our students at Newcastle College and Stafford College packed in dozens of trips and experiences.

NSCG students visited Walsall Art Gallery, browsed book shops in Hay-on-Wye, photographed wildlife at Chester Zoo, took part in an African drumming workshop and painted scare-actors for Screamfest at the National Forest Adventure Farm. In sport, the men and women’s volleyball teams even won the regional heats in the Association of Colleges (AoC) sports championships.

Over in the Performing Arts Centre, our talented Performing Arts students also welcomed friends, family and members of the community to the annual 'Tea Dance' - NSCG's annual variety show that's full of music, acting and dancing.
