WOODLAND MANAGEMENT 2

Green Careers Week 2023

Taking place between the 6th - 11th November, Green Careers Week aims to provide young people with an insight into careers that specifically protect the environment, promoting real opportunities for young people to have a career that will genuinely make a difference.

As part of Green Careers Week 2023, we will be sharing testimonials from students studying 'Green' programmes at NSCG and promoting the range of courses available to study here that coincide with this important initiative.

We also have a number of local businesses and experts who work to help protect our local environment who will be coming into both Newcastle College and Stafford College to speak to students about their careers.

What are green careers?

Green careers are jobs that have a focus on either reducing carbon emissions, restoring nature or making similar environmental improvements - it's not just renewable energy!

If you want to make a significant and positive difference to tackling climate change, and pave the way for a better, more sustainable way of life, a green career may be for you.

As more businesses try to be more eco-friendly, every job has the potential to become green, so there are endless opportunities available to you.
