Former Stafford College student, Gemma Hughes is hoping to bring home a prestigious award in this evening's WJEC / CBAC Moving Image Awards 2020.
The Moving Image Awards, designed in partnership with the BFI, recognises and rewards the UK's most talented young film-makers.
Every year, students undertaking WJEC qualifications in Film and Media are invited to submit their work for consideration by the panel of judges. Gemma, who studied A Level Film Studies at Stafford College, is in the running for 'Best Screen Play' for her piece, Agent Evelyn.
Since leaving College, Gemma has gone on to study Film, TV and Radio at Staffordshire University.
We have our fingers crossed for you Gemma, and what an achievement to have made the finals of these prestigious awards!
