What else do I need to know?

Please note that courses run subject to minimum viable class sizes and there may be additional costs for books, materials or other expenses.

What are the entry requirements?

The normal route to the Level 3 Diploma is to progress from the successful completion of Level 2. You should have a minimum merit grade and it must have been achieved within the last 12 months. However, entry may also be granted to Level 3, for applicants with appropriate accounting experience and/or qualifications, subject to an interview and completion of a pre-course written assessment.

How is it assessed?

Each unit is assessed by an externally set, computer based examination where a minimum of 70 per cent of the marks are required to demonstrate competency.

What financial support is on offer?

Advanced Learning Loans are available to pay course fees for people aged 19+, studying at Level 3 or above.
- No credit checks take place
- It isn't a bank loan
- Your household income is not taken into account
- You pay nothing back until you are earning over £21,000 per year

What can I do next?

Most students progress to our AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting or use the qualification for 'on the job' career progression purposes.
