Course overview
This course is ideal if you wish to develop knowledge and practical experience of the principles of accounting for sole trader and partnership businesses.Units include:
Compulsory units

Financial Performance
Budgeting
Internal Control
Accounting Systems
Optional Units (Choose 2 from 5)
Business Tax
Personal Tax
External Auditing
Cash Management
Credit Control
Spreadsheets
You will learn through experiencing a varied programme which includes assignments, solving simulated problems, lectures, group work, discussions and attempting past exam papers. You will also be required to study away from weekly lectures to ensure exam success.

Successful completion of the level 3 Diploma is required.
How is it assessed?
Each unit is assessed by an externally set, computer based examination where a minimum of 70 per cent of the marks are required to demonstrate competency.

Advanced Learning Loans are available to pay course fees for people aged 19+, studying at Level 3 or above.
