Most assessment is by coursework, with two units being assessed by examination and your tutors will give you regular feedback and support to help you achieve the best results.
You will study GCSE English and Maths if you have not yet achieved these vital qualifications - the skills that are essential to progress in a business environment, either to the next level of study or in employment. This will also help you to complete your assessed course work.

This course develops technical and employability skills such as making presentations, working in groups and working individually. You will develop research skills, become a more independent learner and gain knowledge and understanding which will enable you to meet all kinds of challenges in your future career.

The way the course is assessed means that you receive feedback on your progress throughout the course as you provide evidence of your achievement. This evidence is generated through a range of activities including assignment and project work, case studies, role play and presentations. This full time, one year course runs from September to June and is perfect if you want to work in a business environment.

This course provides learners with the skills, knowledge and experience to progress into employment within the business sector.
Whilst on the course you will learn and develop a number of skills such as:
