The course covers the following topics: principles of team leading, understand business, understand how to communicate work-related information, understand how to manage performance and conflict in the workplace, principles of equality and diversity in the workplace, understand how to develop working relationships with colleagues, understand health and safety procedures in the workplace and understand how to develop and deliver a presentation.What else do I need to know?
This is a blended learning course and will require the learner to commit to self study hours in order to complete the assessments. Please note there may be additional costs for books, materials or other expenses.What are the entry requirements?
Be working or working towards becoming a team leader in any environment. Have a basic level of English in order to complete the written assessments.
How is it assessed?
Each learner will receive their own learning pack which includes 3 learning resources/information booklets and 3 paper-based assessments. Assessments must be completed in the agreed timescale and submitted to the assessor who will then provide feedback, advice and guidance, and, additional support where needed.
What financial support is on offer?
Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group is pleased to be able to offer financial support to help students meet the costs of attending College. If you are on state benefits or are on a low income you may be entitled to fee remission towards your course.

What can I do next?
There are further NCFE level 2 blended learning programmes that you may also complete to support your continual professional development. These include: understanding autism, mental health problems, dignity and safeguarding, dementia. Also, progress on to a team leading apprentcieship at level 3 or further line management qualifications.
