T Level Courses
T Levels are a two-year qualification that you can study as an alternative to A Levels or vocational programmes and on completion, you’ll receive an industry recognised qualification that is equivalent to three A Levels.
T Levels bring classroom learning and an extended industry placement together on a course designed with businesses and employers. Each T Level subject includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days*. Students get valuable experience in the workplace; employers get early sight of the new talent in their industry.
*With the exception of Education & Early Years which is minimum of 94 days.

If this is you:
- I want to gain hands-on work experience, with an extended industry placement.
- I want to put the theory I’m learning into practice.
- I have a career in mind.
- I want to go on to university, get a higher apprenticeship or a job.
Then you'll need:
A minimum of five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including maths and English Language, in subjects that are relevant to the course you’d like to study. Some T Level courses have additional entry requirements.
Equivalent to 3 A Levels
T Levels are an alternative to A Levels, apprenticeships and other 16 to 19 courses. Equivalent to 3 A Levels, a T Level focuses on vocational skills and can help students into skilled employment, higher study or apprenticeships.
A 45-day industry placement
Each T Level includes an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days*. Students get valuable experience in the workplace; employers get early sight of the new talent in their industry.
*With the exception of Education & Early Years which is minimum of 94 days.
80% Classroom, 20% Work
T Level students spend 80% of the course in the classroom, learning the skills that employers need. The other 20% is a meaningful industry placement, where they put these skills into action.
