Safeguarding
A safe environment for all.
This college is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We have a dedicated safeguarding team and we encourage students to contact any member of the team should they feel the need to.
It is important that you feel safe at college and in your personal life. The prevent strategy is working together to Notice, Check and Share. Download our prevent posters below for more information.
Wear your ID
That's everyone! All students, staff and visitors - must wear their ID card around their neck at all times when in or around any of the College buildings. You'll need your ID card to access buildings, use our printers and photocopiers and pay for items in the shop, food hall or coffee shop.
Our campus is accessible and disability friendly, and we support the sunflower lanyard scheme for those with invisible disabilities.
Show Respect
NSCG is an inclusive college, committed to equality, diversity and the promotion of British Values in everything we do. We believe that everyone has something to contribute to college life, which enriches the wider college experience and we recognise and celebrate our whole community and the ways in which a mixture of ages, genders, sexualities, religions, abilities and cultures can work, learn and be successful together.
