This college is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
We have a dedicated safeguarding team and we encourage students to contact any member of the team should they feel the need to.
It is important that you feel safe at college and in your personal life. The prevent strategy is working together to Notice, Check and Share. Download our prevent posters for more information.
WEAR YOUR ID
Everyone - students, staff and visitors - must wear their ID card around their neck at all times when in or around any of the college buildings. You'll need your ID card to access buildings, use our printers and photocopiers and pay for items in the shop, food hall or coffee shop.
SHOW RESPECT
Fundamental British values are at the heart of everything we do. We stand up for democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect. We also encourage our students to show tolerance for those with different faiths and beliefs. You’ll see these values demonstrated in our tutorials and all areas of our curriculum. Make sure you respect them too.

Our students love being a part of NSCG and together we’re always sharing their college experiences and achievements for everyone to see, and more importantly, for you to see. Their world. Their freedom. Their joy. Their life. Their excitement. Make it yours. #MyNSCG
