Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays from everyone at NSCG
Every year, staff and students at both Newcastle and Stafford campuses pull together to film their highly anticipated end of year Christmas video.
Written, filmed and directed by marketing and PR officer Dan Thomas and supported by the marketing team, the College community gets into the spirit of the season to film the annual video which features staff from departments across both sites and stars a host of fabulous students.
This year’s theme was totally unexpected with many of the staff and students admitting they’d never heard of the song. Nevertheless, Dan persevered with his vision and a retro 90s/00s pop band theme was filmed, set to the sounds N*Sync’s Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.
Senior management donned white puffer jackets with fur lined hoods à la East 17, the school’s liaison team coordinated in double denim and fresh from appearing as Captain Hook in NSCG’s Christmas panto Peter Pan, Level 3 Acting student Archie Watt played an outstanding starring role throughout the festive film.
We were blown away by everyone’s efforts and want to say a huge thank you to everyone who trusted the process, participated and took time out of their busy calendars to take part in this year’s film. I think you’ll all agree Dan nailed it once again and we hope you enjoy the film.
