Course overview
Apprentices learn the craft of bricklaying, including laying bricks, blocks and stone, as well as reading technical drawings and understanding construction principles, preparing them for roles in the construction industry.

They might also refurbish brickwork and masonry on restoration projects. The range of sites and projects that bricklayers will work on include large commercial developments, new builds in housing, alterations, extensions and restorations.
