Course overviewThis course will enable you to gain the skills and knowledge that will give you access to numerous opportunities in the health professions sector.
Designed by employers, T-Levels combine practical and theoretical learning experiences, with real-life industry experience. A T-Level pathway can also support progression on to university, into employment or on to a higher/degree apprenticeship.
The course combines classroom based theory with an extensive work placement element that will support you to make well informed choices about your future career aspirations.
You will learn how to undertake a variety of clinical tasks including physiological measurements and how to interpret the results. You will practice these skills working alongside professionals on your work placement.
What else do I need to know?You will be required to complete a DBS check to ensure you are suitable to work with vulnerable individuals. Information on how to apply for this will be discussed at the start of the course.

What financial support is on offer?
College Maintenance Allowance (CMA): Anyone with a household income under £26,000 can receive up to £20 per week financial support to help pay for travel and meals and meet the costs of essential trips, books, stationery and equipment. The payments will be subject to full attendance on your course. A range of other financial support is available, depending on your personal circumstances. What can I do next?
assistant, health care or senior health care assistant and the extensive placement element will provide you with valuable experience that will be attractive to many potential employers. You may decide to apply for higher education and qualify as a nurse, midwife, operating theatre practitioner or radiographer.
