Take the next step in your studies to become a professional counsellor with this Level 3 course. Develop an in-depth knowledge of the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work, and the approaches that underpin the use of these in-demand skills. The course offers learners the opportunity to identify, understand and evaluate key elements of the main theoretical approaches to counselling and practice and develop a range of interpersonal and counselling skills.

The course is aimed at those who use or want to develop their own counselling skills in a range of settings. The course offers learners the opportunity to identify, understand and evaluate key elements of the main theoretical approaches to counselling and practice and develop a range of interpersonal and counselling skills.

On completion of the course you will be aware of the skills required to initiate, maintain and conclude a counselling skills interaction and integrate these into your chosen setting. The course provides a nationally recognised qualification in counselling skills to those who complete it successfully.

Learners are required to have achieved the Level 2 Award in Counselling Concepts before applying for this course . Please note we do not accept online Level 2 qualifications.

Through completion of assignments, all of which are internal assessed , internally and externally moderated In addition peer, tutor and self assessment runs through the course.

On successful completion of this course learners may able to progress onto a related Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
