Essential Digital Skills – Bespoke Learning

Welcome to the Siemens, NSCG and Axia Solutions bespoke CPD and training programme taking place from 10 March 2025 at Siemens, Congleton. 

*Please note that this programme is only available to employees of Siemens Congleton*

Units on offer will include:

Basic Excel (10/03/25): Gain an Introduction to Excel formatting and basic data organisation. You will also learn the basic skills of creating charts, pivot tables and managing different data sets.

Introduction to AI (11/03/25 & 19/03/25): An understanding of AI and best practice for safe usage in the work place. You will also be guided through essential AI terminology and the AI apps available to you.

Lean Manufacturing (12/03/25 & 13/03/25): During this session you will receive an overview of the Toyota Production System and experience Lean Manufacturing in Lego.

Advanced Excel (14/03/25): A step up from the basics, you will develop skills in advanced functions and tables, advanced look ups and referencing data.

Sustainability (19/03/25): An Introduction to Sustainability, Workplace Practices and Understanding Individual Impact).

Basic IT (20/03/25): An IT skills workshop covering the fundamentals and best practice of using Microsoft Office.

There are no formal assessment methods for this programme.

On completion of the programme, you may wish to consider studying a additional courses to help you to gain a recognised qualification of your choice.
