Course overview

The Multiply: Understanding Basic Maths course is aimed at adult learners who would like to become more confident with numbers for both life and work. This informal course will include a variety of topics such as whole numbers, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, measurements, etc. Students can expect to gain a solid foundation in mathematics, which is valuable for various careers and daily problem-solving. These topics will be delivered using fun and engaging strategies, to bring maths to life.

These topics will be delivered by our approachable and friendly tutors using fun and engaging strategies, to bring maths to life.


There are no entry requirements, however you will need to be 19+ and reside in Staffordshire.

There are no formal assessments, but we will track your progress. To help us get a better understanding of your maths needs you will complete an initial assessment at the start of the course.

This course is FREE to adult learners aged 19+ who reside in Staffordshire.

This course has been funded by the Government's Multiply Project and is aimed at Staffordshire residents aged 19+. Please note that courses run subject to minimum viable class sizes.
