Develop and enhance your existing skills in cyber security with this short Level 4 course. Enhance your existing skills and knowledge of the subject area to assess, review, implement and learn to manage your organisations' IT Security.

During this course, learners will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to assess, review, implement and learn to manage an organisations' IT Security.

This FREE 10-week course will provide an underpinning knowledge to help you to understand security systems, their effectiveness and important considerations for an organisations' management.

This is an exceptional opportunity to broaden your awareness of the increasing importance to cyber security and covers the following learning topics.

  • Assess risks to IT security
  • Identify appropriate IT security solutions
  • Review mechanisms to control organisational IT security

Understanding of IT Systems and infrastructure and ability to learn at a higher education level for computing.

This course is aligned to UK Shared Prosperity Funding and there is no formal assessment activity. However ongoing learning and progress checks will occur throughout the 10 week programme.

On completion of the course, you may wish to progress onto the HNC in Computing delivered at both Newcastle and Stafford campuses.
