UK Shared Prosperity Fund: Level 4 Network Security Practices (HTQ)

This course introduces adult learners to the fundamental principles of network security practices. As systems administration and management are important tasks in the day-to-day functioning and security of information systems, poor or improper practices can lead to loss of data, its integrity, performance reductions, security breaches and total system failure.

Network engineers need to maintain high levels of operation of communication networks in order to provide maximum performance and availability for their users, such as staff, clients, customers and suppliers. The course will contribute to the enablement of learners to understand network configuration, cloud, network administration and monitoring tools, and be able to give technical advice and guidance.

Learners will need to have an understanding of IT Systems and infrastructure and ability to learn at a higher education level for computing.

Please note there is no formal assessment as part of this programme but those accessing the programme will be able to study aspects of content from our HTQ programme and Cisco Networking Academy.
