Course overview

Develop your working knowledge of Inventor by studying this short Level 4 course. Gain in-demand industry skills in CAD software for 2D and 3D drawing.

During this 10-week course, you will build on the skills and knowledge gained whilst studying the Introduction to Inventor course. Our industry-specialised team will guide you through the processes of using CAD software for 2D and 3D drawing.

You will learn the following skills:

  • Present drawings and renderings for a given project, produced using CAD software
  • Use 2D and 3D CAD software to produce visualisations and technical drawings

On successful completion of the course, learners will be able to understand the current and prospective uses of CAD technology within engineering, and be able to produce CAD drawings, objects, 3D environments and visualisations.

A Level 3 qualification in a related subject area such as mechanical, manufacturing or engineering, or successful completion of the Introduction to Inventor course.
