Course overview
Explore the world of computer aided design by studying this introductory Level 4 course. Studying this course will give you the foundations to develop your knowledge further in engineering drawings, simulations, modelling and technical drawing.
During this 10-week course, our industry-specialised teaching team will help you to navigate the basics of industry-recognised computed aided design software to enhance your CV for career progression.
You will develop skills in the following areas:
- National and international standards and conventions for CAD
- Software and hardware knowledge to produce CAD drawings
- Produce and interpret CAD drawings
- Use CAD software to produce 3D drawings and views
There are no formal requirements to apply for this course. However, the course aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to transfer to a Level 4 HTQ, and therefore it is advised that you already possess a relevant Level 3 qualification.
