If it’s been a long time since you’ve done any maths, or if numbers make you feel unsure, this relaxed and friendly course funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund is the perfect place to start.
Over 10 supportive hours, you’ll:
• Build your confidence working with numbers
• Explore everyday maths, like using money, telling the time, and measuring
• Take part in simple, practical activities to help you understand how maths works in real life
There’s no test and no pressure—just encouragement and support to help you feel more comfortable with maths.
Your tutor will guide you at your own pace, helping you take small steps and believe in yourself. You’ll also get helpful tips for practising at home and using your new skills in everyday life, such as shopping, cooking, or budgeting.
There are no formal entry requirements, just a willingness to learn and get involved.
There are no formal assessments, just the joy to learn maths. Together we will record your progress on an individual learning plan and your teacher will provide you with regular feedback.
