If you have a passion for making people feel their best, this nationally recognised professional qualification will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to work within the beauty and holistic therapy industry.

The programme involves flexible study consisting of specialist units including Body Massage, Aromatherapy, Specialised Facial and Body Treatments, Indian Head and Hot Stones.

You will also develop a sound knowledge of how to monitor and maintain health and safety practices in a salon environment, how to promote client care and communications in beauty related industries, how to maintain personal health and wellbeing as well as exploring the origins of massage and the principles of complementary and alternative medicine.

This qualification would enhance and compliment techniques required by individuals seeking employment in this profession. You will also incorporate an industry placement and a range of work related activities to ensure that you have the breadth of skills required to progress to further/higher education, employment or an apprenticeship.

You will need a minimum of four or more high grades at GCSE in subjects relevant to the course you’d like to study, including maths and/or English Language at grade 4 or above. Alternatively, you’ll need a Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy. Your entry requirements will be discussed with you at interview.
