Role: Students’ Union Vice President at Newcastle College

Studying: A Level in Film, Psychology and Sports Science

Former School: Ormiston Horizon Academy

Why did you run for the position?

I wanted to partake in something outside of my comfort zone and try something new so I pushed myself to apply and I’m so glad I did. I am passionate about making a difference and improving the college community for other students.

What would you like to achieve during your post?

I would like to be able to be a voice for others and to be able to be someone they can come to with any problems.

What are you looking forward to over the next 12 months?

I am looking forward to receiving my exam results because I’ve worked very hard.

What’s your favourite thing about studying at NSCG?

NSCG offered the chance to study things I’m interested in.

Tell us a random/interesting fact about yourself

I hate crisps.

What 5 words would your friends use to describe you?

Charismatic, inquisitive, inspiring, reliable and passionate

What are your hobbies/interests?

I enjoy reading and I’m interested in activities to improve my fitness.

What’s your favourite NSCG hangout?

I like meeting up with friends in Starbucks during free periods.

What are you listening to at the moment?

At the moment I can’t stop listening to SZA- Awkward.
