T Level in Education and Early Years (Assisting Teaching)

Our Level 3 T-Level in Education & Childcare will give you the foundation you need to set you on the path towards your ideal career.

Focussing on working with children aged 0-19, the T-Level qualification combines learning in the classroom with gaining vital ‘on-the-job’ experience.

In the second year of the course, you will have the option to specialise in working with ages 5-19 as a Teaching Assistant. 

As part of the two-year course, you will gain core knowledge of subjects such as supporting education, health and wellbeing, safeguarding and Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), as well as developing a range of technical and practical skills that employers are looking for.

You will be assessed through written and practical examinations, employer projects, group work, presentations and analysis. You will also be observed and assessed in the workplace

College Maintenance Allowance (CMA): Anyone with a household income under £26,000 can receive up to £20 per week financial support to help pay for travel and meals and meet the costs of essential trips, books, stationery and equipment.
