Course overview
This qualification helps you to develop the knowledge and practical skills required to professionally carry out inspection and testing on electrical installations. This qualification offers three pathways depending on the type of inspection and testing required or previous qualifications gained by learners.
This is a roll-on, roll-off qualification that is commenced at anytime during the year based on demand.
The course is typically aimed at practising electricians who wish to carry out the periodic inspection and testing of electrical installations and issue Electrical Installation Condition Reports and for those who wish to acquire new knowledge and skills within the electrical industry. The course will improve candidates understanding in these aspects and ensure correct methods and procedures are applied when conducting inspection and test on site. The course covers the requirements for being able to inspect and test older electrical installations.
This is a 5-day course taught over three weeks and will be taught in college with some online learning.
