If it’s been a while since you’ve been in a classroom, or if reading and writing makes you feel unsure, this friendly course is a great place to start.
Over 10 supportive hours, you’ll:
- Build confidence in your reading and writing
- Look at everyday English, like signs, letters, and short texts
- Take part in simple, practical activities that help make things clearer
There’s no test and no pressure, just support to help you feel more comfortable with English.
Your tutor will guide you at your own pace and help you believe in yourself. You’ll also get tips for practising at home and using your skills in daily life, like reading with your children or writing a note.
Everyone can improve, and this course is a great first step.
There are no formal entry requirements, just a willingness to learn and get involved.
There are no formal assessments, just the joy of reading and writing. Together we will record your progress on an individual learning plan and your teacher will provide you with regular feedback.
