Step 1: Your Application

Use the course search to find a course or apprenticeship that you would like to apply for.

Click on the course/apprenticeship you want to apply for.

Click apply today on the right hand side of the course page

Complete the application form and click submit!

If you are applying for a full-time course or an apprenticeship you should apply for a place between 1 October 2023 and 31 March 2024. Applications received after this date will still be considered but course places will be limited.

Don't worry if you're unsure of which course you want to study, you can apply for multiple courses on the same application form.

If you are applying for a part-time course you may be able to enrol and pay for the course online by clicking ‘buy now’ on the course that you’d like to enrol onto. If you can’t enrol and pay online it might be because you require an interview (see Step 2).

Step 2: Your Interview (don't stress)

It’s not as scary as it sounds. Essentially, it’s just an opportunity for us to get to meet you properly and to make sure that you are suited to the course.

Once you've applied, we’ll make a date for a welcome event or interview to meet your tutors (this may be virtually or in person). You’ll need to bring a copy of your most recent school report.

Following the interview, we’ll more than likely offer you a conditional place.

Step 3: Confirming Your Place

If you satisfy our entry requirements, we’ll offer you a place after your welcome event or interview.

Full-time students must confirm their place on the course. You can confirm your place by completing the online form, completing the paper form you were given in your interview or by calling us on 01782 254254 (Newcastle College) or 01785 223800 (Stafford College). 

Once you’ve accepted your place on the course, we’ll invite you to an Experience event in June where you will find out more about life at College and meet people on your course.
