2026 Apprentices Celebrated with Graduation Ceremony
15 July 2026
On Tuesday 14 July, apprentices from Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) proudly marked the completion of their apprenticeship journeys at a special graduation ceremony hosted by Staffordshire County Council.
As one of the region’s largest apprenticeship providers, NSCG supports more than 800 apprentices each year, working in partnership with employers to nurture talent and help businesses thrive.
The celebration, held at Stafford County Showground, brought together training providers, employers, family and friends to recognise the hard work and achievements of apprentices across a wide range of sectors including Beauty, Business, Engineering and Manufacturing, Education and Health & Social Care.
Guests heard from a line-up of speakers, including Patrick Flaherty, Chief Executive Officer, and colleague Robin Hall, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economy & Skills at Staffordshire County Council, Kayleigh Simm, Press Brake Operative at KMF and Kevin Davis, CEO of Vine Trust Group and Chair of the Ladder Apprenticeship Foundation.
The event was sponsored by NSCG, Apprenticeship Ambassador Network West Midlands, Staffordshire County Council, KMF, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and Staffordshire Providers Network.
The ceremony not only celebrated the apprentices’ dedication and achievements but also highlighted the vital role apprenticeships play in developing skills and strengthening the local economy.
