Studying: A Levels in History, Law and Sociology

Former school: Blessed William Howard High School

Why did you run for the position?

I know what it feels like to be under represented or feeling like your views or culture aren't seen so I want to be able to be a voice for people who might not feel like they are represented to help improve awareness of people's cultures and ethnicities.

What would you like to achieve during your post?

I would like to improve on cultural awareness within the college and would like to teach people how to be prideful of their background and upbringing.

What make you passionate about this position?

I have experienced prejudice in the past and it's not nice so I want to make black and ethnic minorities feel safe whilst at college..

What are you looking forward to over the next 12 months?

I would like to inspire others to embrace their culture and speak up about any concerns they have. I want people to feel they can come to me with any concerns so I can help make improvements.

What are you studying and what's your favourite thing about being a student at NSCG?

I am studying A Level History, Law and Sociology. I really like that the lessons are at different times each day as this makes the week feel less monotonous.

I'm a big foodie and love exploring different cultural dishes.

What 5 words would your friends use to describe you?

Energetic, funny, interesting, honest and caring.

What are your hobbies/interests?

I love scrapbooking and also learning about different countries.

What’s your favourite NSCG hangout?

The new build is a great place to chill with friends.
