Newcastle College invites learners to first Open Event of the academic year

Newcastle College, part of Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group, is set to hold its on-campus Open Event on Wednesday 9th October, between 5:30pm and 8pm.

The Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ college will be opening its doors to prospective students and their families in order to give them an insight into studying at one of the country’s top performing colleges.

Visitors to the event will be able to explore the top-class facilities on offer, chat with teaching staff, hear from NSCG’s Principal and get an overview of the outstanding student support available. Visitors will also have the chance to speak to current students to find out what life is really like at Newcastle College.

Craig Hodgson, Principal at NSCG, said: “Our Open Events are designed to give young people a full overview of NSCG so they can take the next step on their educational journey.

“It is a great opportunity to hear from our industry-experienced teaching staff, who will be on hand throughout the event to help learners choose the best course options for them.”

Craig continues: “At NSCG, we have a long-established reputation for delivering excellent education and training and we’re the largest and most successful Further Education provider in Staffordshire, rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted. We are really excited to be opening our doors again to showcase life at NSCG.”

At NSCG Newcastle College learners can study every type of post-16 qualification, including A Levels, T-Levels, a full range of Vocational courses and apprenticeships. Higher Education and part-time adult learning courses are also available to study in wide range of subject areas.
