NSCG Students Crowned Victors at Business Management Games

Students from BTEC Business and T Level Management and Administration programmes at both the Newcastle and Stafford campuses, along with students from Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College, took part in a variety of tasks, stepping into the roles of council officers to tackle real-world challenges head-on.

Alongside briefing the Deputy Lord Mayor, council leader, and opposition leader, they also took part in scrutiny sessions, engaged with local business representatives, and even showcased their skills by completing a mock media interview and emergency planning exercise.

Teams from Newcastle College soared to victory, with Newcastle Elite clinching first place and Newcastle Pioneers securing second place.

Involvement in events such as these helps to put students’ skills and knowledge to the test while they begin to network with industry professionals and build relationships with learners from other colleges.
