Course overview

The purpose of the Level 2 Certificate in Cyber Security is to provide learners with sector awareness. It will do this by introducing the knowledge and understanding in roles and issues relating to Cyber Security.

The purpose of the Level 2 Certificate in Cyber Security is to provide learners with sector awareness. It will do this by introducing the knowledge and understanding in roles and issues relating to Cyber Security.

Learners must be aged 16 or above. There are no specific entry requirements for the qualification, however a Level 1 and/or interest in IT would be advantageous.

This is a competency and knowledge based qualification which is internally assessed and externally quality assured through a range of online activities that you will be supported with by our curriculum team.

On completion of this course, you could progress onto a Level 3 course.

Courses with a duration over 12 weeks and costing in excess of £150 (including exam fees) can be paid for in instalments over the duration of the course or one year (whichever is shorter). While the College can not guarantee this arrangement in every case, we will do our best to accommodate requests to pay by instalments. In order to pay by instalments you must come into the college, we cannot take payment online.
