Would you like to develop a successful career in the expanding world of hybrid and electrical vehicle technology? Studying this course will help you to gain the skills to boost your CV and knowledge in this sector.

This is a qualification suitable for practising automotive technicians or those currently working on HEV technology and equipment.

Units include:

  • taking safety precautions when working on hybrid vehicle systems
  • using appropriate tools and equipment to carry out hybrid vehicles repairs safely
  • recording information and making suitable recommendations

You must hold a Level 2 qualification in Hybrid and Electric Vehicle to apply for this course.

If you are 19-23, it is your first Level 3, and are studying an SFA approved Level 3 programme you may be eligible for full fee remission.

You can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan or Higher Education Loan to help with the costs of your course if you are 19 or older and the course you are studying is an eligible Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 course.
