Course overview
Kickstart a career in the creative world of floristry and develop a comprehensive understanding of design principles to help you to create stunning floral displays. If you are looking to start a career within the floristry industry and are keen to develop your creative flair along with practical, technical floristry skills, then this course is perfect for you.
Have you recently completed the Level 1 course and have your heart set of developing your skills further? The Level 2 Certificate helps students to use their skills and techniques from Level 1 to progress to more challenging floral designs and grow in confidence.
Throughout this part-time course, you will learn that successful florists need to understand their tools, environment and the all-important finishing touches that make a difference. The course will help you gain an understanding of design principles and the skills needed to apply these to the creation of beautiful floristry products.
You will also gain an understanding of how floristry businesses operate and develop the skills needed to interact with customers and identify their needs.
There are no exams as this consists mainly of practical activities, although students are required to complete four assignments during the course.
Students are continually assessed with each design created on a weekly basis and coursework submitted.
