Level 2 Diploma in Barbering

Learners gain essential barbering skills through a blend of practical training and theory. Guided by highly experienced tutors, they work with real clients in the salon to develop technical ability alongside customer service and the professional standards expected within the industry. 

The topics you will cover whilst completing the course include the following core hairdressing topics:

• Establish effective working relationships
• Advise and consult with clients
• Shampoo, condition and treat hair and scalp
• Dry men's hair
• Cut men's hair using basic techniques
• Cut facial hair using basic techniques
• Create basic patterns in hair
• Perm hair

Upon completion, learners are equipped with the knowledge and confidence to progress within the barbering industry.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however you will be required to attend an interview. 

You will be assessed through a range of practical assessments and online exams.

This qualification could lead to employment as a barber or progression onto a higher level course.
