The Andy Griffin Football Academy is available at both Newcastle and Stafford Campuses. When you're not showing off your skills on the pitch, you'll be showing us what you're made of in the classroom.

In choosing NSCG, you can rest assured you have decided to study at the best college in Staffordshire and one of the top further education colleges in the UK.

You can follow one of three routes:

Level 3 Sport

Level 2 Sport

AGFA 2024 12

First Class Opportunities

We’ve been recognised as one of the top colleges in the country for football development, securing investment from the Football Association and the English Colleges Football Association, to develop grassroots footballing talent.

You’ll be representing us in the ECFA Category 1 league, a tough but rewarding league, with only 5% of colleges in the country eligible to play at this nationally recognised level.

And that’s not it, for the best of the best, there’s the opportunity to show off your skills and be seen by talent scouts at regional and national trials.

First Class Facilities

We’ve a high reputation for the quality of our facilities for miles around. Whatever the weather, you’ll have access to full size 3G AstroTurf pitches, home to many games and training sessions. And if we need to take your training inside, you’ll be using our indoor sports halls or health and fitness centre.

  • Each player will receive*:
  • A fully branded football training kit, tracksuit, polo shirt and kit bag
