First Open Event of the Academic Year Brings Thousands to NSCG

Over 4000 visitors explored a range of courses both academic and vocational, ahead of applying to study in September 2027. 

Visitors were able to get the lowdown from current students, ask tutors all their burning questions and explore the campus at their own pace. Throughout the evening the College showcased A Levels, T Levels and BTECs as well as newly introduced qualifications, V Levels. 

V Levels are a new Level 3 qualification equivalent in size to one A Level. They’re designed to give you practical, career focused learning, and can be studied alongside other qualifications such as A Levels, A+ programmes or a Diploma, to create a personalised study programme equivalent in size to three A Levels. NSCG will be introducing three V Levels for 2027: Accounting, Digital and Education. 

The next NSCG Open Event will be at the Stafford campus on Thursday 22^nd October 5.30pm–8pm, followed by the Leek campus on Wednesday 4^th November 5.00pm–7:00pm.
