Interested in a career in early years? Places are still available on our Foundation Degree in Education (Early Childhood Studies) for September

Foundation Degrees in Early Childhood Studies focus on child development, safeguarding, play, curriculum planning, and professional practice. They are aimed at individuals already working or aspiring to work in early childhood settings.

The Foundation Degree in Education (Early Childhood Studies) - Awarded by the University of Staffordshire, will help you to delve into topics such as child development, educational psychology and early years curriculum planning.

Studying this part-time evening course, you can combine academic study with work-based learning in your day job in the sector, and could lead to roles such as Early Years Educator, Teaching Assistant or progression to our BA (Hons) in Education (Top-Up).

With a focus on early childhood education and care, graduates are equipped to pursue careers as early years educators, nursery managers, or child development specialists, making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.
