Students Dazzle at End of Year Hair and Beauty Showcase

The Hair and Beauty end-of-year showcase made a spectacular return to NSCG yesterday, giving students a platform to celebrate their creativity, technical skills and artistic flair.
Learners from Hairdressing, Beauty and Media Makeup courses came together to host an evening of glitz and glamour, welcoming friends and family to celebrate their hard work and achievements over the academic year.
From ethereal fantasy creations and classic Disney-inspired styles to bold modern horror looks, their designs featured everything from prosthetics and dramatic headpieces to clever use of smoke machines to truly bring their visions to life.
Lorraine Drayton, Curriculum Manager for Hairdressing, Beauty and Media Makeup at NSCG, said: “This is such a special evening, and every year our students exceed expectations. It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase the skills and knowledge they’ve developed throughout the year. So much planning and passion goes into making the event a success, so a huge thank you goes out to our students, staff and employer partners for their efforts.”
