NSCG T Level Management and Administration student Millie Quick has been named as a finalist in the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ category at the Staffordshire University Business Awards 2025.

MILLIEQUICK T LEVEL

Millie, who is currently completing the final year of her T Level, has been recognised for her exceptional contribution to her industry placement with local recruitment consultancy Recruitment Robin. The award nomination celebrates Millie’s outstanding commitment to her personal and professional development, as well as her growing confidence, leadership and passion for championing the T Level programme.

Since joining the team at Recruitment Robin, Millie has gone from strength to strength, taking on real responsibility within the business and becoming a true advocate for vocational learning. She has supported operations, contributed to employer outreach, delivered presentations to local businesses and even created her own ambassadorial role to promote T Levels across the region.

Millie said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be named a finalist.

“It’s been such an incredible journey, from starting out as a nervous student to becoming someone who now gets to speak at events and support others starting their own placement. I’m so grateful to Selina and the team at Recruitment Robin for believing in me and giving me such a supportive and inspiring environment to learn in.”

Managing Director of Recruitment Robin, Selina Rudzik, added: “We couldn’t be prouder of Millie. Her passion, professionalism and drive have made a lasting impression on our business and the wider T Level initiative. She’s a shining example of what young talent can achieve with the right support. Millie has grown into a true ambassador not just for our company, but for the future workforce and she thoroughly deserves this recognition.”

The winners of the Staffordshire University Business Awards 2025 will be announced at a black-tie event at the University’s Catalyst building on Thursday 4th September, where finalists, sponsors and regional business leaders will come together to celebrate business excellence from across the region.

Millie has also been nominated for the prestigious ‘Future Star’ Award at the Your Heroes Awards 2025, following recognition from the judges of the Staffordshire University Business Awards. Finalists will be announced over the summer, ahead of the ceremony in November.
