Course overview

Explore the world of computer aided design by studying this introductory Level 3 course. Studying this course will give you the foundations to develop your knowledge further in engineering drawings, simulations, modelling and technical drawing.

During this 10-week course, our industry-specialised teaching team will help you to navigate the basics of industry-recognised computed aided design software to enhance your CV for career progression. 

You will develop skills in the following areas:

  • National and international standards and conventions for CAD
  • Software and hardware knowledge to produce CAD drawings
  • Produce and interpret CAD drawings
  • Use CAD software to produce 3D drawings and views
