Why did you run for the position?
I was interested in applying for the role as I really enjoy sports and I’m passionate about creating opportunities for others to enjoy sport too. I am grateful I have been given the opportunity to organise events and activities for the college in my role and I’m really looking forward to putting more on to encourage engagement in sport among the community.
What would you like to achieve during your post?
Over the next 12 months I’d like to plan events for the college encouraging people that don’t play sports to have a taste of the amazing different sports on offer at the college. I have put one event on already which was a basketball session and it was very successful so I’m looking forward to organising more.
