NSCG Health students reach regional finals of prestigious WorldSkills UK competition

Four talented NSCG Health students have showcased their skills and professionalism after progressing to the regional finals of the prestigious WorldSkills UK Health and Social Care competition.

Students Irene, Alishba, Louise and India represented NSCG at the competition, held at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College, where they were challenged to demonstrate their ability to provide professional, safe and person-centred care when supporting service users.

The students were among just 60 competitors selected from 600 entrants nationwide to progress to this stage of the competition, making their achievement even more impressive.

We are incredibly proud of Irene, Alishba, Louise and India for reaching round three of this highly competitive event and for demonstrating the dedication, compassion and practical skills that are essential within the health and social care sector.

The students will find out in early July whether they have secured a place in the next stage of the competition, which will take place in South Wales in November.

A huge congratulations to Irene, Alishba, Louise and India — we wish them the very best of luck and look forward to hearing the results!
