Our courses are guaranteed to give you the hands-on skills you’ll need to get in the fast lane for a role in the motor industry, Our Palmbourne Construction and Skills Centre offers a real working environment where you can study Motor Vehicle & Hybrid Technology courses.
You’ll split your time between working in the centre and studying in a classroom. Depending on which course you choose, you’ll learn about fabrication and welding, vehicle electrics, testing and inspection, hybrid vehicle technology, repairing and maintenance and much, much more!

Students Receive Go-Kart as Gift
Motor Vehicle students were gifted a racing go-kart from local employer, Capula. Students got the chance to re-build the go-kart and learn how the electric powered engine works.
Hybrid and Electrical Vehicle Technology
At NSCG, we’re committed to providing state-of-the-art learning resources and facilities to our students.
That’s why we have invested in a number of hybrid vehicles, including a Tesla Model X and BMW i8 for students studying Motor Vehicle to work on. This will prepare students for the workplace as hybrid technology evolves and becomes a more sustainable and ethical choice for consumers. Students will study in our hybrid vehicle workshop and will learn how to work safely in and around the vehicle’s hybrid system.
