Award-Winning Riverbank Restaurant Offers Unique Dining Experience
28 September 2026
NSCG’s award-winning Riverbank Restaurant is once again open to the public for the new academic year.
Members of the public are invited to indulge in a range of crafted menus showcasing the skills and techniques of the latest Hospitality cohort.
Situated overlooking Victoria Park, in a purpose designed contemporary style dining room, the restaurant is staffed entirely by Stafford College students.
All food is freshly prepared daily, using top-quality fresh ingredients cooked and presented to fine dining standards and then delivered under exacting service guidelines and supervision.
With monthly menu changes and numerous ‘themed nights’ throughout the year, Riverbank ensures students display their technical skills and flair in varying ways, making all experiences unique.
Tom Harrison Curriculum Leader for Catering at NSCG said, “We are delighted that the restaurant is officially open again for the academic year! Our learners are eager to showcase their skills and serve exceptional, high-quality food to our loyal customers”
The student-led restaurant gives learners invaluable insights into industry best practice, growing their confidence as they develop new techniques and showcase their skills. This year’s impact will be no different, as a new cohort prepares to cook up a storm, crafting new and exciting dishes.
Places for the hotly anticipated Christmas service at Riverbank have already sold out, but there are plenty of other opportunities throughout the academic year to get involved.
You can enjoy a freshly cooked lunch with friends, family or colleagues for just £19.95 for a 3-course menu or the lunchtime carvery for £15.50 per person for a 2-course menu. Alternatively, the dinner menu costs £29.50 per person for a 3-course menu and is the perfect weeknight treat.
