Stafford College catering and hospitality students showcased their creativity, professionalism and teamwork by hosting a special charity evening at The Riverbank Restaurant, raising an impressive £750 for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
The event saw student chefs take the lead in the kitchen, preparing, cooking and presenting a spectacular five-course tasting menu for guests. From menu planning through to final presentation, students demonstrated the skills, confidence and passion they have developed throughout their studies.
The evening provided a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable real-world experience, working together to deliver a high-quality dining experience while supporting an important cause.
Guests also took part in a charity raffle, with the generosity and support of everyone attending helping to raise vital funds for CRY, a charity dedicated to raising awareness and supporting young people affected by cardiac conditions.
The success of the evening highlights the commitment and talent of students, who continue to develop the skills and industry knowledge needed for a successful future in the hospitality sector.
