Progression Pathways

If you’re not quite ready for a Level 3 course, our Progression Pathways are a 12-month programme designed to help you build the skills, confidence and qualifications needed for your next steps.

Whether you’re aiming to progress to Level 3, secure an apprenticeship, or jump straight into the world of work on completion, a Level 2 qualification gives you the practical expertise, confidence and credentials to make it happen.

Alongside your chosen subject, there is also a big focus on improving your maths and English skills, gaining work experience and building the skills employers value.

Is this for me?

• I prefer practical learning, but I want to build my skills, knowledge and confidence first.
• I want to progress to a Level 3 course, get an apprenticeship or get a job.

If you’re not quite ready to join a Level 3 programme, our vocational Progression Pathways allow you to study at Level 1 or Level 2 and will help you build confidence, knowledge and skills to help you progress to your next steps.
