An apprenticeship is a great way to start work and earn while you learn.

As the region’s leading education and training provider, our Work Based Learning team works collaboratively with employers throughout the region to foster long-term relationships and support both learner development and business growth and prosperity.

Our high quality, flexible service provides expert advice, guidance and support on all aspects of work-based learning including: apprenticeships, traineeships, bespoke training and professional development.

Apprentices will be working in your business spending time accessing on-the-job training. Off-the-job training time should be allocated to complete course work either in college as part of day release or delivery in the workplace. Apprenticeships are available from a Level 2 (intermediate) and in some areas up to Level 7 (higher). The time taken to achieve this will vary depending on each apprenticeship/level.
